Brehna Evans

My Story

Hello! My name is Brehna Evans and I'm a senior in college. I'm the starting point guard for St. Cloud State University, which is an NCAA Division 2 school in Minnesota. My junior year I earned 1st team All Conference honors and was defensive player of the year. That year, my team also earned a bid to the NCAA Division 2 National Tournament for the second year in a row. There, we got the opportunity to compete against a team that ended up making it to the final four.

Outside of basketball I enjoy hanging with friends and family, listening to music, and golfing. I'm studying Psychology with the intention of getting my Master's degree in Sports Psychology.

I am excited to be a part of this program because I feel that the mental side of the game is as critical to the success of an athlete as the physical side. Five Star Academy is the first program I’ve seen that focuses primarily on the mental development of young athletes. As a future sports psychologist I’m excited for the opportunity to teach athletes the importance of mental strength.
