Cassidy Mihalko

My name is Cassidy Mihalko! I am a 5’10 combo guard and am currently living the dream- traveling the world, getting paid to play the game I love!  I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin only to move my life across the country to California where I played 4 years at Cal Baptist University. My senior year was filled with a long list of “accomplishments” where I was named CBU’s 2nd all-time leading scorer, First Team All-American, Conference player of the year, CBU Female of the year, and others that I won’t bore you with.  The one that meant the most was being named the “NCAA D2 Academic All-American Woman of the Year”. This was a testament to the growth of developing transferable skills outside of basketball; time management, prioritizing my mental health, etc. etc. 

 

With that being said, in my 6th season professionally overseas (Australia x2, Germany, Cyprus, Greece, Cyprus), I am enjoying the process of self-improvement on and off the court.  I love to prioritize relationships and explore the different cultures I am living in.  Huge foodie and lover of long talks over coffee, reading books, and walks on the beach as cliché as that sounds. 

 

I am happy to be a mentor for Five Star Academy and help encourage athletes in anyway that they may need!
